Many of you are worried that this is just another big tech company finding new ways to collect your personal data. That we’re creating a problem to justify invasive solutions. I get that skepticism. It’s earned, not just toward us, but toward the entire tech industry. But that’s not what we’re doing.

Oh ok, 3 quick questions:

  1. So what is it you’re doing, and how do you know you’re doing it and not merely saying you’re trying to do it?
  2. Why does what you say you’re doing now mean you aren’t also doing the thing you say you aren’t doing?
  3. How is it that the thing you are no longer doing turned out to be a thing you say you’re not doing, and what are you doing to prevent the thing you do next from turning out to be the thing you say you aren’t doing?

Thanks for your attention in this matter.
